Fixed 2026 gutter cleaning prices: £65 for a terraced house, £85 for a semi, £110–£140 for a detached. Includes downpipe check and a photo of every run. Repeat customers priced 15% less.

Vacuum vs hand-clearing — when each works
Ground-based vacuum (SkyVac) reaches up to 12m and gets 90% of debris — best for annual maintenance. Hand-clearing from a roof ladder is needed if the vacuum can't reach (deep valleys, hidden gutters behind parapets) or if compacted moss needs prising out. Both included in our price where needed.
Signs your gutters need doing
Water overshooting the front of the gutter in rain, plants growing out of the top, damp patches on external walls just below the gutter line, or wet marks on the ceiling by the eaves. Also worth checking after any nearby tree work — leaf drop always blocks the downpipes first.

How often to clean
Once a year for most homes; twice a year if you have overhanging trees or a pitched roof draining into a small gutter. Autumn (late November, after leaf drop) is the single most important clean.

Yes as a separate service — see our roof cleaning page. We don't recommend jet-washing tiles; it strips the surface.
Can you fix damaged gutter on the same visit?+
Yes for small fixes (a bracket, a length of joint sealant, a broken endcap). Bigger jobs quoted separately.
