Why we fit EPDM over felt or fibreglass
Felt cracks. Fibreglass needs perfect conditions to lay and cracks at flex points. EPDM is laid in one piece on most home extensions, has no seams to fail, and flexes through hot and cold without splitting. It's the right call for almost every domestic flat roof under 50m².

How long does EPDM last?+
30 years minimum, often 50+ when laid properly with edge protection. Manufacturer guarantees run to 20 years; real-world life is much longer.
Can EPDM be walked on?+
Occasionally for maintenance, yes. For regular foot traffic (a roof terrace) we'd add protection boards or paving on adjustable pedestals.
